_DESIGN A 3D MODEL AND PRODUCE A FIBER COMPOSITE IN IT

SUPPLIER WORKSHOP_ As I have no experience with fiber glass composite, I decide to exprement with it. For the assigment I want to create a durable concrete cast mold. So my fist step was to go to the fiber glass supplier and tke the banners workshop in where they explain the process , the tools, proportions of material to use and applications of it.
- LARGE MOLD DESIGN
TRIDIMENSIONAL TILE MOLD FOR CONCRETE CAST_ As I say it the concept of the assigment was to create a mold for concrete cast. so first I design a simple tile that have a topography in a tridimensional piece.
Because of the limit time a start doing a laser cut a-like pieces for the experimentation.

a.- design the mold for the composite
b.-fabricate the mold
c.-prepare all the material for the gel coat + fiberglass process
d.-apply the unmolding layars ( wax and sealing )
f.- apply the layer of gel coat 2 mm thick
g.- after the dry of the gel coat cut the fiber glass in pieces for simple application
h.-prepare the resine
i.-put the fiber glass in layers with resine and roll them
j.-apply some layer with differents directions
k.- Unmolding and cut the exceses of fiberglass
